Florida REALTORS® just released the August housing numbers, and the big story for Lee County Single Family Homes is Pending Sales—up 14% compared to last August. Pending sales reflect contracts written in the month, making them a leading indicator of future closings.
The Median Sales Price is down 5.1% year-over-year, while the median time to contract now sits just over two months. New listings were down about 10% from last year, however, inventory remains in buyer’s market territory with a 6.9-month supply (up from 5.7 a year ago).
